  Well, I had optical cables for years that cost 15-20 euros, "not noname" and I thought the sound was crystal clear. But as soon as I plugged in this one, the resolution went through the roof! Both in the tos-tos version on the Pioneer dv600av cd player, and in the mini tos-tos version on the mibox s. YES, and yet even on the mibox s, the sound is crystal clear from Spotify premium, regardless of the fact that the box only provides 16bit 44khz through optical. And both machines pass through to a Yamaha receiver with a 24/96 dac.

  I know, I know, I used to say that it's a digital pass through cable, a bit is a bit and it's enough to pass through, so it's a trap and expensive digital cables are a waste of money. But in practice, the difference is clear! (and it's not a placebo effect)

  Anyone who wants to upgrade their sound and doesn't have an amplifier with HDMI, I highly recommend the 50-euro one...

  The supernova with glass at 200... that's probably an exaggeration, unless the rest of the system is equivalent.
