Overall, it is a very good coffee maker worth its money. It is very practical that the basket is detachable. What I would like is for it to have the same functions but take up less space, and perhaps have a more uniform design! That's why I'm also taking a photo for you to see how it looks from above!
I have it for less than a week. I agree with its practicality, the water container makes the coffee quickly.. However, what I don't understand is why it doesn't give me any aroma. I put coffee with hazelnut flavor from a well-known brand and nothing. I wonder what mistake I might be making because this particular coffee gives off a very strong aroma in another coffee maker. It drips when you remove the jug. I am reducing it to 2 stars.
A great coffee maker, I've had it for 6 years. It also does a good descaling, so I think it will easily last me another six. It doesn't stop pouring when you take out the carafe, but that doesn't bother me. Quality plastics and relatively quick brewing time. At the €40 I bought it for, it was good value for money; I would even pay up to €50 again. The current prices (65+) are a rip-off. It remains a simple coffee maker that heats water and pours it over a filter.
Very good coffee maker. It was mainly purchased because you could remove the water tank and fill it at the tap. It keeps the coffee hot for quite a while. It doesn't have the technology that stops the flow while you are putting in coffee, so I deduct one star. At 35 euros, it was worth the money. For 70, which they have it now, you can find better ones.
Two coffee makers purchased in the same time period, one broke after 3.5 years, the other after 4. Good coffee, but it takes a while to make it. Average durability over time
Very good coffee quality, it really makes a delicious filter coffee! Also, the detachable water tank is a very good idea, as it washes perfectly. If the quality of the plastic parts were a little better, it would have scored a 5-star rating. Value for money choice!
I have bought 3 of these in the last approximately 20 years. It breaks down every 7 years or so, and doing market research, I can't find anything better
Very good coffee maker! One of the most important things is that the coffee is made very quickly. I haven't seen a difference in the coffee with the setting for more aroma and intensity as it says, I had it in the previous coffee maker I had, from another company, and I also didn't see any difference.
Easy setup. Instructions straightforward, schematics easy to follow and understand, especially the de-calcification section which presents the most problems to the layman)) although in Athens, the soft water makes the process rather redundant. The extra aroma button brings extra points- and a smile to your face, as it really contributes to the strength of the coffee. Am happy with the machine so far.
Just bought...the color is amazing and the coffee maker seems to be of high quality construction. The system of filling water with a detachable container is very convenient and the coffee quality is very good (of course, it depends on the variety one uses).
We have had it for a few months now and we are very satisfied. It is very easy to use and makes great coffee. I haven't found anything negative so far.
I have had it for about three years and it is the best filter coffee machine I have ever bought. In the first few days, it had a strange plastic smell, but it disappeared within a week. It is definitely worth its money!! If it ever breaks, I will buy the same one again.
This is a very cheaply made product that is unlikely to withstand the test of time. In order to produce cheap consumer goods, they have compromised the quality of the plastics. Mine arrived probably broken, but it definitely broke on the first use. You get what you pay for. Not suitable for everyday use.
All French coffee makers do more or less the same thing. I still don't know what this button for extra aroma does and how it does it. It is VERY convenient in terms of how the water jug works and visually very beautiful.
I expected more, its plastics are of average quality, it does not show particularly durable construction, and the taste of the coffee is just sufficient.
The Aroma+ does not do anything special, a big plus is the removable water container, even if you fill it at the base, it is wide enough not to spill any water drops.
For those who say it makes noise, all coffee makers make noise and it is not bothersome.
Certainly, however, for the 50 euros I paid including shipping, I expected something more.
Very good purchase, the water container is removable and fits under the faucet with its lid to fill up and then snaps right back onto the coffee maker. With one hand, you can immediately fill the water! This alone makes the coffee maker very practical because the water container fits comfortably in the dishwasher but also allows your hand to fit in to wash it with a sponge. The carafe is perfect, the glass is very good, not thin. Its lid detaches easily for hand washing or in the dishwasher. Also, something that impressed me is that the carafe does not drip at all, no matter how "quickly and carelessly" you pour the coffee, unlike other coffee makers that require you to pour the coffee slowly or else the carafe overflows from the spout. It doesn't have its own filter, so it requires paper ones, and I don't understand the purpose of the ring it has to remove the filter holder since you have already opened the base of the filter. It has a setting for how long it stays open after brewing the coffee. The aroma button doesn't seem to make a different coffee, but in general, it makes good coffee quickly. Beautiful design, slightly bulky.
Update: 9 months later it hasn't accumulated scale with daily use, and we are in an area with very hard water.
Update August 2024: still used daily, I have done descaling but the indicator had not lit up, I did it myself for cleanliness. It’s like new and makes excellent coffee, just like on the first day.
Six years ago I bought this specific coffee maker (back then it cost 67€ if I remember correctly) and it has more than paid for itself. It's very good. It preserves the aroma of the coffee. Of course, I have the extra button for the aroma permanently pressed. I never noticed any difference in the aroma with or without the button. The important thing is that after 6 years, it works like the first day and I use it almost every day.
Functional design, particularly convenient that the water jug is removable and the coffee filter comes outwards.
Also, a strong point is the large capacity and the indicator for descaling.
I haven't looked into whether there is a replacement jug available and how much it costs or if it is compatible with stainless steel.
However, the plastic parts are somewhat lightweight, it doesn't give you the feeling of sturdy construction. Similarly, the glass jug, which is lightweight and I don't think the thickness of the glass exceeds two millimeters. The truth is that it doesn't reflect the quality of Bosch, although nowadays everything is fake everywhere...
The café has very good construction and a glass carafe, something that many prefer. It makes nice and aromatic coffee quickly, just what you need to start your day right. I highly recommend it!
The coffee machine is brown and very fast, I didn't expect it. Even with the function of the (coffee aroma) that is supposed to delay the process. The time will be the judge for the quality of construction. It is very convenient that it has so many detachable parts for cleaning, as well as for its convenient usability.
I believe it's worth giving an extra 10 - 15 € in order to get this specific machine.... The coffee comes out good and retains its aroma, the quality seems good and it cleans easily. I hope it will also withstand the test of time
I don't have an opinion on durability yet because we've only had it for 2 months. The only negative thing is that it takes its time for the coffee (of course, all filter machines are slower compared to espresso machines) and it takes a while to reheat the container, meaning if you want to reheat last night's coffee in the morning, it's better to put a cup in the microwave or a pot on the stove rather than waiting for it. As for the water, we have Toray filter in Athens, so the minerals (also seen from the kettle-teapot) are low. Other than that, it's easy to use, maintain, and whatever coffee you put in, you drink it, it has coffee and coffee.
Beautiful, user-friendly, and aromatic coffee. Now, how long it will last, I will come back later. For now, it is worth its money.
A year and a half later and it works like new. I enjoyed it. Perfect
-Beautiful design.
-Makes very good coffee.
-All parts are removable and therefore can be easily washed/cleaned.
-It may have some issue with water hardness. From the first month of use, the descaling light always remained on, even right after descaling. It broke after 2-2.5 years of use.
I expected something better from Bosch.
I don't know what's wrong, but after 1 year of use, the machine started emitting a strange smell, something like burnt plastic, and the coffee as well.
It lasted 2 years and then started leaking water from underneath, if your area has a high level of water hardness, I do not recommend it, it needs cleaning from salts every 10-15 days and it makes a lot of noise when brewing coffee.
I definitely have it for a year and more ..daily use goes without saying! Quick coffee, full flavor, of course I didn't buy it for 40 euros that it costs now, but much lower! The only negative is the excessive amount of steam that damaged my kitchen cabinets! The removable container is a lifesaver though
