We bought the product in order to restrict the child to the living room by connecting the pieces together in a row. It is not stable as a construction and I believe it is not intended for the purpose we bought it. The child is 10 months old and tries to stand up, grabs onto the fence, and it falls down. This particular fence is suitable for outdoor use because the bases can be nailed to the ground, making it more stable, and of course for a ball pit.

Very good construction. Durable and sturdy plastic. It can also be used as a ball pit, although the holes are a bit wider and sometimes a ball can escape during play with a push. Overall, a very good product.
