For home use, it is satisfactory. However, it is heavy, resulting in it coming loose over time if the socket is not installed very well.
Although we wanted the other model with the USB, and we accidentally got this one, the product is perfect. Very beautiful and discreet in relation to its size, and it has not presented any problems.
It does what it says, although be careful because it is quite bulky. It would be a little better, given its size, if it had a switch for each socket.

It burned after about 1 year, I opened it and the cables were broken inside, a coffee maker on top and a small oven. Nice shape but probably not durable.
The only negative aspect is the relatively long distance between the socket and the plug (for example, there needs to be space behind a nightstand).

Purchased today on January 20, 2020 for 10€, the allocacoc powercube original is intended to replace an old 3-way plug and serve as an upgrade with its 5 socket outlets, with a total rating of 16A / 230V, which is equivalent to 3680W. Practically, none of the devices in our house that are connected to the socket require such power, and if they were to draw that much power, it would be momentary (electrocution) or for a very short period of time, otherwise it would cause the socket and plug to melt in our hands, as this is the peak power. Even most washing machines require a maximum of 2300W.
- As soon as I got it, I realized that it is of high quality, unlike the white plugs I had before. It is designed in a way that can accommodate any type of plug (whether it's a simple two-pin plug, a portable plug, or the thicker plugs like those of a computer or an air-conditioner) and utilize all 5 socket outlets. It is suitable to be directly plugged into the wall socket in order to utilize all 5 outlets, rather than using an extension cord, unless you have a specific reason (not because there is a risk, unless the extension cord you have has a small diameter wire or is damaged or has poor quality plugs), but because one of the 5 socket outlets needs to be empty in order to stably support the cube-shaped design with 5 outlets.
- I bought this instead of a power strip because I don't want it to be on the floor (risk of water spills), but rather to be on the wall socket and have the cables organized, rather than hanging down.
- Another advantage is that both the plugs (cross-shaped) and the cube-shaped design, if they are of good quality, due to their simple and compact construction (no internal wires or soldering like the long power strips with wires), but rather thick flat metal plates that are connected to each other with clips or are continuous, are very sturdy and have the lowest resistance and can handle heavy current loads when directly plugged into the wall socket.
- One thing that may be considered negative for some is that the plugs of the devices, especially the thicker ones, require a bit more force to fit into the 5 outlets. For me, this is not a problem because the tight contacts indicate a good connection to the power (no sparks) and the connections are good.
- It also has plastic safety clips in each socket outlet's 2 holes that provide power, to prevent children from inserting a screwdriver/wire/needle and getting electrocuted. Of course, if the child is very resourceful and inserts two objects into the two holes simultaneously (like a regular plug works), then they will come into contact with the power and get an electric shock.
We will see how it goes in the future, but it is serving me very well.
Everything you need for an office or home space in order to avoid old "T" and other power strips. It is beautiful and well-made. The USB ports it has were incredibly helpful and they even charge quickly if your phone has fast charging like mine ;)
