Okay, the mouse is quite good. Sturdy construction, minimal creaking. Many buttons that cater to an average to demanding user. The hidden button is very interesting and useful. The middle click of the scroll wheel is there (something I always look for in my mouse). Hassle-free connection for me.
A major drawback is its weight. Particularly heavy and takes time to get used to, especially if you are coming from a lightweight mouse. 4 stars for this, maybe even 3.5 if you have small hands and/or want it only for very basic use.
From a functionality standpoint, I don't see any issues. It is also very ergonomic in the hand. I see 2 issues: the price and the noisy buttons (-1).
I got it as a replacement for the M705. It is the same in quality and feel, but with upgrades that were indeed necessary.
Now it works with Bluetooth and not just with the Logitech Unifying Receiver.
It can also connect to 3 devices via Bluetooth.
Finally, it requires one AA battery instead of 2 like the M705 did.

I have been using it for a month, it connects easily to different devices, very convenient in hand, the materials are of high quality, it is worth the money!
Purchased in 2020. Excellent signal with no disconnects from the receiver, even with the interference of a wooden desk. It can also connect via Bluetooth to devices that have it (e.g. MacBook) without occupying a USB port. The rubber wears off in the shape of the hand, but it doesn't bother me. Accurate handling due to the right weight and size. I have relatively large fingers.
An excellent mouse that only gets 3 stars...
It has many positives:
- easy switching between 3 devices
- battery life
- this awesome scroll wheel with two modes...
- ergonomic and comfortable
- it is repairable (I changed the middle button on all three I have)
The reasons it loses two stars are:
- the rubber wears out (unacceptable for a €55 mouse)
- the buttons break, especially the middle one (unacceptable for a €55 mouse)
- I would prefer it slightly larger
- it should cost €35
Positives:

Negatives:
- The soft coating of the mouse deteriorated after 2 years, as well as the contact of the left click, resulting in the inability to drag and drop, essentially rendering the mouse useless
Purchased on 27/07/23. Nice mouse, comfortable to hold, with a good size for regular hands (palm grip). Works fine on Linux (Fedora), and with the Solaar software (https://pwr-solaar.github.io/Solaar/), which is the equivalent of Logi Options+ for Linux, it can be customized to a great extent. The free-scrolling of the wheel is excellent, and the thumb button also functions as a gesture button. The only issue might be that the wheel has some play left-right, although it currently works fine.
Amazing mouse. I have had it for 5 years and it still hasn't had any issues. The battery, I forget to change it. Convenient size and weight, precision and comfort. A bit noisy but at normal levels. A big positive is the three Bluetooth connections, it connects with a laptop, iPad, and even an iPhone! Recommended!
I got it 4 years ago. On the positive side, the battery hasn't drained yet. But what's the use when it has such excessive power saving that it permanently goes into sleep mode and takes a long time to wake up. It lags quite often. It has interruptions. It often takes 20-30 seconds to wake up. I have searched the internet to see if there is any setting, but there is no solution. Disabling the "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" setting in Device Manager doesn't change anything.
TLDR: STAY AWAY!
For me as a programmer, the best. It is the 2nd one. The 1st one, after years of daily and long hours of use, couldn't catch the left click of the scroll wheel that I had for copy. I got the MX MASTER 2S, which didn't satisfy me functionally, so I bought the 2nd TRIATHLON. I highly recommend it.
It does what it says. Very convenient, works perfectly on iPhone and computer for anyone who wants to screen share their mobile screen on the computer.
Positives:
- Connection with three devices
- Very convenient device switching with a button on the side
Negatives:
- The soft coating of the mouse wears off after a few months (especially if you have sweaty hands)
- Issues with the switches (specifically, the left click contact broke for me, resulting in not being able to drag and drop)
I am on the 2nd floor. The 1st one annoyed me a lot and I was planning to get another one. The plastic cover gradually broke, and at some point, the left button stopped responding a little (for some reason, Logitech used a 10M switch instead of the 20M switch that costs the same).
And I was saying that I wouldn't buy it again, not only because of these issues but also because, for example, the scroll wheel is hard to click, if you leave the scroll free with the button behind the wheel, it moves things on the screen due to its oversensitivity, the device switch button is in an inappropriate position (next to the other two buttons), etc. The worst part is its behavior from the software, which freezes as soon as it passes over an active element on the screen (I couldn't find a good way to fix it, except by removing the "precision" from the mouse settings in Windows).
However, I eventually got used to its behavior so much that I bought the same one again... And I also bought 10 switches for €10 to repair it in the future...
But why did I choose it again despite the above:
- Good price for a mouse for three devices. In fact, I haven't noticed any disconnections with Bluetooth devices, although I have seen some people complain.
- Battery life and use of AA batteries (personal preference).
- Support for 3 devices, which is exactly what I need, and it has been very convenient for me along with the corresponding Logitech keyboard.
- Accuracy and noise of the buttons (left, right buttons) exactly as I prefer.
- Weight (not too light, but not too heavy either).
- Size (perhaps slightly larger would have liked it even more).
- Positions of the three additional buttons on the left.
- Large scroll wheel with very precise scrolling, which ultimately helps overcome the fact that pressing it is "hard".
- The left and right click of the wheel can be used as they are clear (it also helps that the wheel is large and hard to press).
I bought it to replace the legendary Logitech M510, which I had for over 10 years until the switches in the clicks stopped working. I saw positive reviews everywhere and decided to buy it. It is a quality, sturdy construction but...
---The clicks have no resistance. So much so that even when I touched the buttons with my fingers (as we usually do when holding the mouse), they clicked only from the weight of my fingers (without even pressing them).
---The scroll wheel in "stepped" scrolling is very stiff, while in free scrolling it is so sensitive that sometimes it would turn on its own and scroll without me wanting it to.
---The sensor had a very strange response to movement that was incredibly tiring. I don't know exactly how to describe it. I tried adjusting accelerations, motion profiles (linear, curved, exponential). Nothing worked.
---The "forward-back" buttons are non-existent in touch. They are so tiny and have no sensation (you don't hear a click or anything), that you can't tell if you pressed something and what you pressed. And they are in a very strange and uncomfortable position.
---Battery life is also inadequate. A new battery (takes one AA battery) was unused and lasted just over a month (my old Logitech M510 took 2 AA batteries and with the same usage lasted for 6 months).
In short, unfortunately, I regretted the purchase. Especially for the money I spent. I expected something much more comfortable, ergonomic, and well-designed, especially from a company with such a reputation like Logitech
I have it for almost a year and I am very satisfied with my purchase. I have changed the battery twice (and this was with the first battery I used to be already old...) so no problem! It has a very comfortable and firm grip in the palm as I like it (medium hand size).
If something bothers me, it is that the buttons make a relatively loud click at night and it may be annoying.
The only annoying thing is that the side part where you place your thumb is a button that activates desktop items preview and it can be accidentally pressed during gaming. However, it can be disabled through the device's settings.
After the discontinuation of the Performance MX, I had no other choice but the Triathlon since the top models, apart from being very expensive, are ugly, uncomfortable, large, and I don't like the side wheel at all.
I wanted a normal mouse with forward-back buttons. Unfortunately, the present one is too small for my hand. And I don't have big hands, but normally the Performance MX was a bit big for me, but this one is 2-3 scales smaller, making it difficult for me to handle.
The response is quite good, I had to increase the pointer speed, but it doesn't have the same smooth movement that I had with the Performance MX. With that one, I adjusted the DPI sensitivity and could switch to a slow, regular mode, which was very convenient for games.
I struggle with the side buttons since their position makes them inconvenient, they are also small and I can't easily find them with my finger.
Regarding the software, it has a more sleek black interface, but it doesn't have a tray icon, which is very useful if you want to make any changes like custom buttons for certain applications.
It bothers me that the base is white! A little strange, but at least it's not visible unless you turn it upside down.
Overall, it's a mediocre mouse without anything noteworthy. It was a forced choice, until Logitech releases another one in the higher category in the future, I will change it immediately.
UPDATE:
After a few months of use, I have been annoyed by the random right-clicks. The mouse is a bit small and uncomfortable unless you have small hands. I constantly right-click unintentionally just by touching it, this never happened with other mice.
The only good thing is that the batteries last a long time. Both with alkaline and rechargeable ones, depending of course.
Overall, though, I am dissatisfied and hopeful that Logitech will release a better mouse without a side wheel.

After 1 year and more of use, the mouse started double-clicking while the right-click doesn't always respond.
A bad purchase, disappointed by Logitech.
It has been very convenient for me, especially after using Logitech Options to assign shortcuts to its buttons (Cut/Copy/Paste, etc.), it has become an integral part of my work. It is slightly small for my hands, but I expected that when I ordered it. One year later and I haven't changed the battery yet. It is also worth noting that it doesn't seem to have any delay in response via Bluetooth, both on MacOS and Win10. I highly recommend it!
I have been using it for over a month and my hand hurts a lot. I have never had any issues with tendinitis before, nor have the hours of usage increased... My conclusion is that if the palm does not sit exactly in the right spot, a problem arises. In my case, with a hand size of L, the mouse is too small for a comfortable grip. Apart from the fact that it did not fit me, there is nothing negative. Connectivity, functions, and quality are all perfect.
After searching and reading for a very long time for the right mouse, I ended up with this one. Rejecting the magic mouse due to its size and hand application as well as the absence of a scroll wheel, I chose this one because: a) it has an excellent size and hand application, b) very good build quality, c) immediate response to commands, d) 8 buttons with various functions, and e) it can be connected to 3 different devices - important -.
For as long as I have had it, I have noticed a few brief disconnections with my macbook, and if I could add a small negative, it would be its slightly heavier weight.
Logitech warranty guarantees both in terms of build quality and usability, filling your palm and providing plenty of actions you can perform with the additional buttons it has.
Nice design and ergonomics. Connected immediately to the laptop. Good and fast movement. The programmable buttons are very convenient. The option to release the wheel for fast scrolling is also great.
I haven't tried the "flow" function yet, but it sounds amazing.
As for the negatives, the main buttons, right/left, make more noise than I expected.
I've been using it for a week and it seems like a very good choice.
Although I have read from several people that it has future issues with the scroll wheel (like many Logitech mice), so far in the short period of time that I have been using it (6 months), it is excellent and has not had any problems. Comfortable in the hand, beautiful software, it connects very well wirelessly, it is a nice-looking mouse and with the programmable buttons you can customize it to your needs, the batteries last a long time and overall it is a high-quality mouse with moderate cost. So, based on current data, I recommend it.
The best mouse I have ever used. The multi-device feature is amazing, it has adjustable friction on the mouse wheel. With 0 friction, I can scroll effortlessly through logs all day. Pressing the button at the top switches the mouse wheel back to conventional scrolling. Overall, it's a delight for working with huge Excel files, PDFs, etc. It's the best for professionals. Very comfortable for the wrist and perfectly weighted. With a good mousepad, it moves effortlessly. I hope it lasts.
It is perfect, sturdy, and has the ideal size. It is lightweight enough to carry with you to work and in general, it is very handy that you can adjust its buttons as you like. It truly deserves it.
As a construction quality, it is very satisfactory for its price. The battery lasts a long time. Personally, I prefer the fact that it takes extra batteries as usually the first thing that breaks in similar peripherals is the wheel or the battery.
The feel of the mouse and the wheel is very good and the size is ideal for me. It is a smaller mxMaster 2s without the thumb wheel and made of cheaper materials! In this particular one, it is easier to switch between connected devices, so if someone handles multiple devices, it is preferable to the mxMaster!
Although it has been worn out quite a bit, the only wear that the mouse has is on the part where the thumb and index finger rest, the matte coating has come off and it is shinier but it is only an aesthetic problem.
Also, if someone wants to handle multiple devices simultaneously, it is worth checking out the Logitech MK850 which includes the M720.
Supposedly, you are giving the (quite) extra money for a branded mouse in order to ensure comfort and durability in its use. However, when its wheel starts spinning wildly, after mild use for a period of time shorter than a year since its purchase, you realize that no one should be dazzled by the (indeed interesting) special features when it cannot meet the essential and absolutely necessary ones.
I have the mouse for 1 year. The flow sometimes doesn't respond, for me it is quite heavy and when I hold it, it doesn't give me the feeling of durability. Of course, it is very useful that it connects to 3 devices...
