The Volume of the Proceedings of the Conference "Public Health and Social Policy: Eleftherios Venizelos and His Era" aims to explore the development problems of public health and social policy, as well as to highlight the significance and meaning that arise from the institutions and choices made at the beginning of the twentieth century. During this particularly critical period, the governments of Eleftherios Venizelos are called upon to provide solutions and address the issues of state modernization and public health reorganization, laying the foundations for the development of health services, social welfare services, and social insurance.
