- 2.5": The most classic size of an external hard drive.
- 3.5": They are not recommended for frequent movements due to their volume and weight.
- Multi-Bay: They consist of more than one internal hard drives. It is recommended to use them primarily as desktops.
- M.2: Smaller than 2.5" and close to 1.8". M.2 is a type of SSD that is slightly faster. They offer great portability with their small size and weight.
