- Deep Cycle: Deep cycle batteries are designed to withstand repeated cycles of discharge/charge, gradually using almost all of the battery's capacity.
- Open Type: They use liquid electrolyte and require regular maintenance, such as checking the levels of the liquid electrolyte and adding water (in case of evaporation).
- Sealed: They do not require access to the electrolyte and are maintenance-free. Ideal for applications where maintenance is difficult or impossible, such as in photovoltaic systems for homes or remote areas
- GEL: Gel batteries excel in self-discharge rate (discharge minimally) and withstand higher environmental temperatures. They have a longer lifespan and tremendous resistance to plate corrosion.
- AGM: AGM batteries are used where high starting amperage is required. In case the battery breaks, there is no free liquid to leak. This makes AGM batteries extremely safe.
- Lithium: A huge number of charging and discharging cycles for very deep discharges. They can be charged with proportionally huge current heights compared to lead-acid batteries that have been used extensively until now.
- OPzS: Open-type batteries with cylindrical plates for backup power applications.
- OPzV: Closed-type batteries with cylindrical plates and electrolyte in the form of gel (GEL) for backup power applications.
